Saturday, October 24/04 Thinking about the presidential election. Almost evenly matched, the two contenders have stepped up their attacks in a mean-spirited competition.

Saturday, July 27/03 Harvey (the famous) Chan had a dance performance at a club downtown--what was it--the Javacerveza? He was shimmering, magnificent. We expect nothing less from him. (Is there anything he can't do?) Had a blue cooler which effaced some anxieties, heightened others. A great evening.
